I’m a retired U.S. Paratrooper with over two decades of service, including roles as a combat leader and criminal investigator. Early on, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and spent years overseas—time that often meant missing key moments with my older children. Upon retiring, I knew it was time for a change: no more kicking down doors or chasing bad guys. Instead, I turned my focus fully toward family.
I’m incredibly fortunate to share this journey with my wife, whose strength, support, and love have been my foundation. Together, even later in life, we welcomed two young boys into our family. Raising my older kids through camping, fishing, and outdoor adventures was deeply rewarding; now, I’m thrilled to pass those same experiences to our youngest sons, often joined by their older siblings.
My passion for storytelling and the outdoors led me back to school, where I’m currently completing my BA in Communications and Media Technology, soon transitioning into a Master of Arts program. Through CoyoteSix, I’m merging storytelling, videography, and family adventures—creating engaging content designed to inspire families everywhere.
It’s proof that even an old dog can learn new tricks—and new adventures are always waiting.
